Suze step-father. A carpenter and the host of the local TV show on carpentry.

Mrs Ackerman
Suze's mom. A television news reporter.

Jake 'Sleepy' Ackerman
Suze's oldest step-brother. He' sa senior at the high school and a Freshman at the local college later in the series. Hard working and saving up for a new car. He always looks sleepy due to his night shifts, hence the nickname 'Sleepy'.

Brad 'Dopey' Ackerman
Suze's middle step-brother who is in the same age as her. A typical jock who cares about how he looks, his reputation and his circle of friends.

David 'Doc' Ackerman
Suze's youngest step-brother. A genius. He is the closest to Suze among the Ackerman brothers.

Mr. Simon
Suze's biological dad. He's dead, but still hangs around her.
